Tim has worked in the UK insurance market for 30 years, principally with large insurance brokers, but also with a merchant banking group, and a major insurer.
Most of his career has been in broking, latterly as UK and Ireland Retail Managing Director of a top 10 national broker. He has extensive experience of managing large, complex client relationships.
Tim joined Cadogan Keelan Westall having known Barbon’s senior team well over a period of years as a supplier to the group.

Steve Packer
Client Director
Steve has over 15 years experience in commercial real estate insurance having worked for companies such as The Miller Insurance Group and Jones Lang LaSalle.
Prior to joining CKW Steve worked for Ascent Insurance brokers where he was responsible for the development and implementation of both UK and international insurance programmes for clients such as The Valad Property Group and LaSalle Investment Management. During his career Steve has dealt with funds with a property value in excess of £8bn.

Michelle Richards

Michelle manages a team of 23 Account Executives who provide insurance solutions for a wide range of property owners, investors and management companies.
Michelle has previously been heavily involved with developing Cadogan Keelan Westall's multi-national property solutions and has close links to some of our most prestigious clients. Michelle has worked within the insurance industry since 1987.

Jonathan Hackett
Client Development Director
Jonathan joined CKW in August 2010 having previously worked at Ascent Insurance Brokers and Willis. He has over 10 years experience, all in commercial real estate insurance.
During his career he has created and managed UK and International insurance programmes for a wide variety of real estate investors ranging from private individuals to institutional funds with a property value in excess of £6bn.
Jonathan started his career in client services and has recently moved to client development with primary responsibility for ensuring delivery of service to existing and new clients.

Vanessa Perkins
High Net Worth New Business Consultant
Vanessa is the High Net Worth New Business Consultant for the High Value Home Insurance Team. Having started her career as a Fine Art & Specie Lloyd’s broker at Aon nearly 15 years ago; she transferred to their Private Client division dealing with the insurance needs of High Net Worth Clients before leaving to join CKW in 2007.
She is currently working with the London Team in developing the CKW High Value Home Brand as well as ensuring that the current book of business meets with her and the company’s exacting service standards.

Val Drury
Client Services Manager
Val's role requires her to be a referral point, technical or otherwise, organised and able to allocate work by order of priority to ensure all given deadlines are met. Val has been in the Insurance industry since 1999 and came to Cadogan Keelan Westall from a general insurance broker dealing with Personal Lines & Commercial products as an Underwriter.
Kristina Hudgell
Senior Broking Technician
After graduating from Durham university in 1989, Kristina started her career as a graduate trainee with Norwich Union Personal Lines in Norwich. During her time there she gained her ACII qualification, after which she worked at her dad's high street brokerage for 2 years. Kristina then moved to Hampshire with her husband and worked at Legal & General in Farnham as a commercial underwriter.
When Legal and General closed the office in 1996, Kristina went to work for GA Bonus where she stayed until 2003 when her second son was born, before spending 2 years in the USA where her husband was working. Joining CKW in 2009, Kristina is now involved in all aspects of broking including technical training and referrals, liaising with the Compliance department, auditing of files, new business propositions and renewal retention.
Trevor Hayward
Senior Broking Technician
Trevor joined the team in January 2011 and brings with him a wealth of experience in Commercial and Personal lines insurances. Trevor is responsible for developing Cadogan Keelan Westall’s ancillary products and services in support of our Commercial Insurances. Having worked in the insurance industry since 1973, Trevor has a strong technical background and boasts a three hundred and sixty degree view of insurance processing including Sales, Claims and Management.
Trevor has worked previously for Legal & General where he was responsible for a large network of brokers in the South of England and benefits further from his most recent experience at an independent insurance brokers, based in Hampshire.
Cara Barrow
Operations Controller
Cara Barrow is the Operations Controller and has been with the company since 1998. During that time, Cara has had a variety of roles which enable her to have an understanding of the needs of each department, and knowledge of the systems we use.
Operations are responsible for implementing change throughout the business, from product and system development, Business Continuity Planning, cost saving initiatives, devising training schedules for staff, creating and updating the Bordon Intranet to updating processes and procedures. Operations are also responsible for maintaining the Delegated Authority Agreements we have with insurers and managing the overall insurer relationship.
Rachel Elliot
Key Client Manager
As Key Client Manager, Rachel is focussed on ensuring that the service enjoyed by her allocated clients is first rate. She is very keen on the property and risk management aspect of the job and enjoys keeping up to date with the latest developments in this market in order that this knowledge can be passed on to junior members of the team.
Most recently Rachel has also been enjoying the challenge of arranging Insurance on a global basis for those clients that have been purchasing property abroad. Rachel has been a committed and loyal team member since 1996.
Steve Gamble
Key Client Manager
Steve is a Key Client Manager in our Risk Solutions Team ensuring that our clients receive a first class service & products. Steve joined the Team in 2006 having previously worked as an underwriter for RSA for 24 years handling Liability Construction & Property insurances for some of their largest clients.
Steve is heavily involved in developing the Team through technical training programmes and oversees the issue of our monthly Technical Bulletin keeping our Clients abreast of the latest developments in the insurance & property markets.
Sandy Mooneeapen
Key Client Manager – UK & International
Sandy began his career in the insurance industry in 2000 and brings with him qualified experience in the international property insurance arena having worked for the major global and specialist property owner’s broking houses.
Sandy joined from Ascent Insurance brokers where he designed and placed global insurance programmes for major European real estate property funds in excess of £10bn, most notably for VALAD, PruPIM, and Citigroup. He has also developed excellent relationships with international brokers worldwide.

Darren Coldspring
Business Development Manager
Darren is the Business Development Manager for Cadogan Keelan Westall. He has been working for the company since April 2007. Before joining CKW, Darren worked as a team leader for the property owners team at Cadogan Hanover Park. Not only are his key responsibilities to bring in new business to CKW, but Darren also works as the account manager for a number of existing clients.
His role within Essex Property Network as a committee member is to plan events, help out at networking events and to make sure the network is growing. As the only insurance broker that attends these events, Darren also goes out to the monthly network meetings to offer insurance advice and provide quotations if needed.
Nick Houston

Previously a senior underwriter with Aviva, Nick helps manage relationships with insurers to everyone’s benefit, supporting technical training and gives us a new perspective on looking after our clients.
